Adult Day Programs

Adult Day Programs (ADP) provide supervised programming in a group setting for participants who require close monitoring and assistance with personal activities (e.g., hygiene, dressing, etc.). This service helps participants maintain their greatest level of functioning.

Overnight Stay Care

Overnight stay care is for people living with dementia. This service is provided in a retirement setting, and provides short-term support or temporary relief for caregivers. The program goal is to give their caregiver a break from care. The care includes social and  recreational activities, meals, and personal care.

In-Home Respite

Supervision and care to a client while providing the caregiver with a period of relief.

  • Is there a cost to receive these services?

    There is a cost to attend these programs and services. Discuss details with the agency involved. 


    We make every effort to keep fees affordable to ensure cost is not a barrier to service. In some cases, subsidies may be available.


  • How much notice do I need to give to arrange overnight stay care?

    As these services are in high demand, we recommend planning ahead to give as much notice as possible.

  • How quickly can I expect to receive Adult Day Program and/or In-home Respite Services?

    These services are in high demand. You may be placed on a waitlist to receive service when space in these programs becomes available. Please contact your local provider for availability.
